Edtech Landscape in the Covid Era

Coronavirus is posing unprecedented challenges to schools, colleges and universities around the globe. EdTech technologies tackle some of those challenges by offering innovative and agile solutions which can be implemented promptly.

As a response to the challenges imposed on the Education Industry by Covid-19, the UK Israel Tech Hub, in collaboration with leading UK and Israeli Edtech players such as MindCet, Nesta, Edtech Impact and others is curating an interactive EdTech Startup Map. It will showcase cutting-edge solutions to challenges in K-12 education as a result of Covid, both in the UK and Israel

The EdTech startup map will demonstrate the impact and growth opportunities in the EdTech sector both in the UK and Israel and display areas of innovation where each country can contribute in knowledge or tech-oriented solutions to benefit the other.

We are looking for tech-based innovative solutions that are:

  • Addressing K-12 Education challenges
  • Based in the UK and/ or Israel
  • Proven solutions with a strong user experience and a sustainable business model
  • Showing potential for growth in its user base following Covid
  • Providing support for longer school closures and after

Selected companies will gain wide exposure and growth opportunities in both ecosystems.

The UK Israel Tech Hub has already facilitated a number of strategic partnerships and initiatives aimed to build UK-Israel tech collaboration in Edtech and accelerate the use of innovation in the education sector. See below some highlights of these partnerships:
