In February 2020, the UK Israel Tech Hub took a delegation of Israeli Healthcare startups to London for TeXchange2020: Healthcare Innovation.

This year’s TeXchange programme took place in London between 3-6 February 2020, and included targeted innovation sessions alongside match-making and networking events with potential strategic partners, customers and investors. The programme also included Introductions to leading UK enterprises in the fields of Big Pharma, Healthcare Providers, NHS, local and national government players.

Participating companies: The 10 Israeli companies were selected by a UK-Israeli judging panel, out of almost 100 applicants. They are: binah.ai, BreezoMeter, docdok.health, EarlySense, IMNA Solutions, Medial EarlySign, Medivizor, Selfit Medical, SIVAN & Vaica

Countless meetings took place over 3 days, with 10+2 Israeli startups, 6 major UK healthcare stakeholders, leading British investors and more than 150 attendees through the week’s events.

We held a beautiful Welcome Reception with a cross-section from the UK healthcare scene to welcome the delegation, followed by a brilliant session with AstraZeneca, learning how the Big Pharma engages with external innovation and hearing from our startups.

We continued with a great session meeting the Israeli Tech Parliament and Economic & Trade Mission at the Embassy of Israel, and with some great Speed Dating co-hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) & partners, Care UK and Saga.

Samuel Cronin, Hub’s healthcare innovation manager: “We had a fantastic week and would like to thank all our partners. We couldn’t have done it without your support”.

Thanks, Amazon Web Services (AWS), AstraZeneca, Bank Leumi UK , Bird & Bird, DAC Beachcroft LLP, Care UK, Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), LeumiTech, LocalGlobe, NHSX, Saga plc., Walgreens Boots Alliance
