The UK, is an energy giant and a world leader in everything related to the utilization of energy: from creation to distribution and usage. In this context, central to the UK’s energy goals, the country is leading a Green Industrial Revolution, putting a spotlight on clean energy and RaceToZero. Israel is also placing ambitious goals on cutting down the use of non-renewable energy, and is the bedrock of some of the world’s cleantech innovation disrupters.

The British Embassy Israel, together with Ignite The Spark & Start Up Nation Central, are bringing to the table experts on energy research from top UK & Israeli universities to hear their insights on the energy regulatory landscape in each country and how to surpass the many obstacles in order to succeed, as well as energy innovators who are leading the sector with new and disruptive technologies.

Keynote speaker and the host of the Fully Charged Show, Robert Llewellyn, who will be giving a special talk about his vision for the 3rd decade of the 21st century.

This event is part of a series of events that are part of The Wohl Clean Growth Alliance – a new initiative funded by the Wohl Legacy and managed by the British Council together with the UK Science and Innovation Network in Israel (SIN), in partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology. Aiming to further research-linked cooperation between the UK and Israel in areas of clean growth linked to food, water and energy.
