Co-Founder and General Partner of Israel Growth Partners, a leading Tech focused late stage fund with over 14 investments to date and 600 million dollars under management. Haim Shani is the former Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Finance and has decades of experience in tech, including as CEO of NICE Systems. Mr. Shani was recently awarded OBE from Queen Elizabeth for his contribution to the UK-Israel Tech Hub.
Ayelet joined the Hub in its early days and has been shaping its strategy ever since. She manages the team and drives the Hub’s overall agenda bringing vast experience from the private and the public sectors, mainly in media, culture and arts. Her career to date span between the UK, Luxembourg and Israel. Previously worked at RTL Group, Israel’s Ministry of Culture and Channel 10.
Leading the Hub’s operations in the UK, as well as building our relationships with UK companies and the British Government. Dona also brings expertise to the Hub’s focus in the Arabic online content sector as well as the EdTech scene
An experienced advisor for companies on market entry, innovation scouting and growth strategies, Idan has worked with some of Israel’s most innovative early-stage startups in the fields of AI, computer vision and cyber security
Leads on the development of strategic partnerships between The Hub and UK businesses, towards TeXchange 2020. Over the last 7 years, she has been working for mission-led organisations in the non-profit and private sectors, with a strong focus on community building and business development. Previously worked at JW3, Zinc VC and early stage start ups.
Leads the healthcare activities, working with multinationals and the NHS on their innovation needs and building strategic partnerships between Israel and the UK. Sam has a multidisciplinary scientific background, across pharmacology, biosensing devices, and biotechnology, from the University of Leeds and Ben-Gurion University. Prior to his PhD he conducted financial forensic investigations in the City of London. Sam is a guest lecturer at Ben-Gurion University.
Manages projects within the Arab community and acts as the liaison for the emerging Arab tech sector, by connecting business opportunities in the UK and enhancing the assimilation of the Arab community in the high-tech ecosystem. Additionally, Sami is charge of the ArabtechPort, an online platform that aims to empower Arab entrepreneurs by offering tools to learn, connect and go global.
Manages the Hub’s operations unit, including all sectors activities, finances and cross-sector work. Hadar has vast experience in working in Israel’s both public and private sectors, such as the Ministry of Science and Technology and startups.
Manages social and community strategy for the tech hub. Naomi has vast experience in international production for the performing arts and television in both the UK and Israel.
Manages projects and delegations in Israel, working across sectors to coordinate activities that implement the vision and strategy of the UK Israel Tech Hub. Ella has experience coordinating large and complex budgets and projects in the Israeli public and non-profit sectors, and is currently finishing up her MBA in the Mandel Social Leadership Program at Ben Gurion University.
