Manages the Fintech & Cyber sector and is experienced in facilitating successful collaborations between financial institutions – tier-1 banks and leading insurance companies among them, and Fintech / Insurtech technology companies and startups.
Leads the healthcare activities at the UK Israel Tech Hub, working with multinationals and the NHS on their innovation needs and building strategic partnerships between Israel and the UK. Sam has a multidisciplinary scientific background, across pharmacology, biosensing devices, and biotechnology, from the University of Leeds and Ben-Gurion University. Prior to his PhD he conducted financial forensic investigations in the City of London. Sam is a guest lecturer at Ben-Gurion University.
Leading on the development of strategic partnerships between The Hub and UK businesses, towards TeXchange 2020. Over the last 7 years, she has been working for mission-led organisations in the non-profit and private sectors, with a strong focus on community building and business development. Previously worked at JW3, Zinc VC and early stage start ups.
Manages projects within the Arab community and acts as the liaison for the emerging Arab tech sector, by connecting business opportunities in the UK and enhancing the assimilation of the Arab community in the high-tech ecosystem. Additionally, Sami is charge of the ArabtechPort , an online platform that aims to empower Arab entrepreneurs by offering tools to learn, connect and go global.A self-motivated and independent individual with proven digital marketing, relation building and open-source research skills. Aspires to break-through communication barriers and bring people together.
Manages projects and delegations in Israel, working across sectors to coordinate activities that implement the vision and strategy of the UK Israel Tech Hub. Ella has experience coordinating large and complex budgets and projects in the Israeli public and non-profit sectors, and is currently finishing up her MBA in the Mandel Social Leadership Program at Ben Gurion University.
Manages community strategy and partnerships for the tech hub. Naomi has vast experience in international production for the performing arts and television in both the UK and Israel.
