UK Israel Tech Hub was proud to partner with The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) on the Future Mobility Challenge in Plexal Innovation Centre at Here East in London.

We were delighted that three leading Israeli start ups we have put forward were shortlisted, out of 136 international Challenge entries, to pitch their innovative mobility solutions to five of the world’s leading motor industry brands: Ford Mobility, Bosch, Toyota, Honda and Volvo Car UK.

Congratulations and best of luck to the finalists:

  • Autofleet / Kobi Eisenberg: creating the first, truly sustainable vehicle as a service layer, providing an elastic supply of vehicles serving any source of demand.
  • Chakratec / Nir Zohar: developing a unique kinetic energy storage technology, which enables unlimited high power charge and discharge cycles.
  • Blitz / Raphael Moszynski: a leader in the Electrical Vehicles Revolution, designs and manufactures two-wheeled electric vehicles

Last year’s initiative saw many of the startups starting in-depth discussions with the biggest automotive brands with a view to investment, collaboration, ideas incubation, piloting, routes to market and acquisition- looking forward to hearing what opportunities this year‘s initiative will bring for our startups.

We were also proud to present to SMMT attendees The Hub’s mission and future plans including TeXchange and The Landing Pad and connect with many of the participants.
